Make It Happen: Think Like a Producer
A workshop for aspiring filmmakers. You will walk through the essentials of budgeting, scheduling, and script breakdown to prepare for your first shoot. Then, you will apply these skills to tackle real-world indie production challenges, break down scenes, and build a scene together in an indie set-up. You will leave with a practical understanding of how a film is made and how to think like a producer.
About the Workshop An introduction to film production and the producer's role, built for anyone ready to move from wanting to make a film to actually knowing how. Over one day, you'll walk through every stage of getting a project made, from script to screen, and leave with the practical foundation to start your first short film or step confidently toward your first indie feature.
Who It's For: Film students, first-time filmmakers, actors, writers, and anyone curious about how films actually get made. No prior production experience required, this is an introductory-level workshop designed to give you real structure.

Meet Fabrizio
Fabrizio Fenech is a film producer and post-production producer based in Malta, working across narrative, documentary, and commercial projects through Roughcut Films. He specializes in micro/indie-budget, European co-production filmmaking, taking projects from development through production and delivery. Fabrizio brings hands-on producing experience to the workshop, sharing the practical realities of getting a film made, not just the theory.
