ABOUT fabrizio
Fabrizio Fenech is a Maltese film editor, producer, and director working across narrative features, documentary, and television. With over a decade of industry experience, he has edited four feature films and more than ten short films, while contributing to high-end international and local productions—including post-production roles on Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II.
His editorial approach is defined by rhythm, performance, and structural precision, shaping emotionally grounded narratives with clarity and control.
Fabrizio began his career in 2014, earning early recognition with his debut short Obscure (2015), which received a Best Local Director nomination at the Malta Short Film Festival. He subsequently edited the broadcast drama series Strada Stretta, co-produced the documentary series XjenzArti, and served as producer, editor, and co-director on the feature documentary One Day We Will Dance Again (2020).
His feature narrative work includes editing and producing Uwijja (2022), which secured a theatrical release and international distribution, as well as producing and editing the acclaimed Maltese film Ciao Ciao. As a director, his recent short film Unur, Fama u Glorja further defines his cinematic voice.
Fabrizio develops and produces original and service projects through his production company, Roughcut Films. He is currently editing and co-producing the feature film The Home Straight while developing an international slate of original titles.
